Planet Fitness, one of the largest and fastest growing franchisors and operators of fitness centers in the United States, announced the opening of its new 14,000-square-foot location in McMinnville. Planet Fitness invested $2.3 million to build the club at 231 North Gate Drive, which features state-of-the-art cardio machines, strength equipment, the 30-Minute Express Circuit, a variety of spa amenities, among other features.

“Our team is proud to open another Planet Fitness club in Tennessee, and provide an affordable, safe, and judgment-free environment for McMinnville-area residents to achieve their health and fitness goals,” said Planet Fitness Vice President of Tennessee Operations John Hrinda . “In addition to creating 16 jobs, our new location offers a wide range of opportunities for people to boost their mental and physical well-being.”

The McMinnville facility is open from 5 am to 11 pm Monday through Thursday, 5 am to 9 pm on Fridays, and 7 am to 7 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. In addition to the Classic Membership option, this location also offers the PF Black Card Membership. PF Black Card members have access to massage chairs, HydroMassage, and other spa amenities.

Planet Fitness will host a grand opening celebration on Wednesday, Aug. 10 at 5 pm at the 231 North Gate Drive location. The event will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony and photo-op, as well as a $1,000 donation to a local non-profit organization.
