The Naperville Park District is celebrating the opening of a new fitness court at the Frontier Sports Complex.

The grand opening event will take place at 5 pm Thursday at the complex, 3109 Cedar Glade Drive, just south of the 95th Street Community Plaza. Parking is available next to the fitness court.

The fitness court is the first of its kind in Naperville and features a dynamic circuit-training system designed for use by teens and adults. There will be speakers at the ceremony, a demonstration of how the equipment works and giveaways while supplies last.

Speakers include Naperville Mayor Steve Chirico, park district Executive Director Brad Wilson, park district President Mary Gibson and representatives from Midwest Orthopedics at Rush.
